چکیده
Abstract In snow-dominated river basins, floods often occur during early summer, when snowmelt-induced runoff superimposes with rainfall-induced runoff. An earlier onset of seasonal snowmelt as a consequence warming climate is expected to shift contribution and potential flooding an date. Against this background, we assess the impact rising temperatures on snowpacks quantify changes in timing, magnitude elevation snowmelt. We analyse situ snow measurements, conduct simulations examine at key gauging stations. With regard snowmelt, detect threefold effect temperatures: becomes weaker, occurs forms higher elevations. Due wide range elevations catchment, does not simultaneously all Results indicate that bands melt together blocks. hypothesise warmer world similar sequences weather conditions, moved upward elevation. The movement makes individual earlier, although timing stays same. Meltwater from elevations, least partly, replaces meltwater below.

this thesis attempts to study the representations of the third-world intellectuals in three fictional works by the british-educated trinidadian nobel-winner v. s. naipaul: the mimic men, a bend in the river, and magic seeds. the first one recounts the story of ralph singh’s sense of alienation, his experiences as a colonial politician, and his struggle to give order to his disorderly world thro...
15 صفحه اولthe effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends
flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...
Application of the Snowmelt Runoff model in the Kuban river basin using MODIS satellite images
This paper analyses an opportunity to integrate remote sensing data in a forecasting scheme of river inflow to the Krasnodar reservoir. MODIS MOD10A2 eight-day composite snow cover data was selected as the basic remote sensing information. Based on these data, a database which consists of maximal snow extent maps covering the Kuban river basin over the period from March 2000 to the present, alo...
